Paying for Treatment

Currently, Main Line Family Psychiatry does not participate as an in-network provider for any specific health insurance plan. If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, we can provide you with appropriate bills, diagnosis and any other information that is requested by your insurance carrier. You would be responsible for submitting your own claims and Main Line Family Psychiatry cannot guarantee reimbursement.

Most insurance companies request an itemized invoice for reimbursement. Unless you request otherwise, this will include charges, payments, CPT codes, and DSM diagnoses. You should check with your individual insurance carrier to determine the process for submitting a copy of these invoices, along with claim forms for possible partial reimbursement.

  • We strongly suggest consulting your insurance carrier in advance of your visit

How much will care cost?

The fees vary based on the type of evaluation and type of treatment. You can find some general information about evaluations and fees structure in your new patient forms. Please contact the office for more details.

How do I pay for the visit?

For your convenience we accept cash, check, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) and Apple Pay. Your credit card statement will read, “Main Line Family Psychiatry”

Checks should be made payable to “Main Line Family Psychiatry or MLFP”. Payment must be made at the start of the appointment.

If someone other than the parent or guardian is paying for services, will treatment details be shared with them?

Paying for visits does not change confidentiality; a patient’s progress, medical record and any privileged information can still only be given with direct consent from the patient or guardian.
